Hello, I'm Justine — a corporate and brand photographer based in Brighton & Hove, with over 25 years' experience behind the camera.

My first proper photography job, about 25 years ago, was for the South London Press. I walked in off the street and asked for a job. They said ‘Start tomorrow…if you’re not good there’ll be no more work.’

I used to get a fax every morning with up to 12 jobs on it, from photographing prize-winning vegetables to door-knocking asking a bereaved mum if I could take a portrait of her holding a framed photo of her teenage son, who’d been stabbed to death the night before. It was a challenging job but I learned how to focus and get it done.

These days I specialise in headshots, personal branding, and corporate photography — working with a clean, colourful, true-to-life aesthetic that helps people and teams look confident and approachable, not stiff or overly polished. I work from my fully equipped home studio in Hove, bring a mobile studio to your office for team shoot days, or travel on location across the UK and worldwide.

I work with a genuinely wide mix of people: female founders, makers and creators, entrepreneurs, SMEs and agencies, corporates, healthcare providers, and local and national government organisations. Recent and ongoing clients include the Royal College of Nursing, the National Audit Office, NHS England, Macmillan Cancer Support, and Boots — alongside dozens of founders, charities, and growing teams across Sussex and London.

I was named a Portrait of Britain winner, published in Portrait of Britain – Volume 3, and my work has appeared in The Guardian, The Times, Outdoor Swimmer, Photography Monthly, and Viva magazine.

When I'm not shooting, you'll usually find me in the sea — Brighton & Hove's coastline is a big part of why I love living and working here, and it's exactly the kind of thing that ends up making client shoots feel relaxed rather than corporate-stiff.
