How Much Does a Corporate Photographer Cost in the UK?

If you've been tasked with finding a corporate photographer for your organisation — whether that's a team headshot day, a conference, an event, or a brand shoot — the first question is almost always the same: what's this going to cost?

It's a fair question, and one that's surprisingly hard to answer with a quick Google search. Pricing varies enormously depending on the photographer, the brief, the location, and what's included. So here's a straightforward breakdown of what you can expect to pay, and what you should expect to get.

National Audit Office, Newcastle.

Individual Headshot Sessions

For a single professional headshot — the kind you need for LinkedIn, a company website, a press release or a speaker profile — you're typically looking at anywhere between £95 and £300 in the UK.

At the more affordable end, you'll usually find a short session with a small selection of images. At the higher end, you're paying for experience, professional lighting, a relaxed and well-directed shoot, and individually retouched images that genuinely look the part.

At my studio in Hove, individual headshot sessions start at £95, with images available at £25 each. Most clients leave with three to five images they love — so a typical session comes to around £170–£220 all in. There's no pressure to buy images you don't want.

Team Headshots

This is where corporate photography really earns its value. Rather than sending each team member off to find their own photographer — and ending up with a mismatched collection of images across your website — a professional team headshot day gives you consistent, high-quality portraits of your entire team in a single session.

Pricing for team headshots in the UK typically ranges from £500 for a small team to £3,000 or more for a large organisation with complex requirements. The key variables are team size, location, and whether the photographer brings a mobile studio to your office.

I bring a fully equipped mobile studio — professional lighting, backdrops, and cameras — directly to your workplace. There's no disruption to your working day and no need for staff to travel anywhere. I recently photographed 70 professionals in a single day for the National Audit Office in London. Each person took around ten minutes, and the full gallery was delivered the same week.

Every team headshot project I take on is quoted individually, based on your team size and location. Get in touch with your numbers and I'll come back to you with a clear, itemised quote.

Brand Photography

For founders, small businesses, and growing organisations that need imagery for a website, social media, or marketing campaigns, brand photography is one of the highest-return investments you can make.

A professional brand shoot typically ranges from £400 for a two-hour mini session to £1,500 or more for a full day with multiple locations and looks.

My brand photography packages start at £400 for a mini session, with half days from £700 and full days from £1,100. Every shoot includes post-production and delivery via a private online gallery, with images available in high and low resolution for immediate use across all platforms.

Corporate Event Photography

Conferences, panel events, award ceremonies, away days, product launches — corporate event photography is priced on a half-day or full-day basis, with most photographers charging a day rate plus travel.

In the UK, corporate event photography day rates typically range from £600 to £2,000 depending on experience and deliverables. My rates start at £700 for a half day and £1,100 for a full day, inclusive of post-production and gallery delivery. Every project is quoted individually so you know exactly what you're getting before you commit.

I've worked with organisations including the Royal College of Nursing, NHS England, Macmillan Cancer Support, Boots, the National Audit Office, UK Health Security Agency, and Brighton & Hove City Council. I'm used to working in busy, fast-paced environments — hospitals, government offices, conference venues — and delivering quickly and professionally.

What Affects the Price?

A few things can push a quote higher or lower:

Location and travel. I'm based in Brighton & Hove and work regularly across East and West Sussex and London. Travel expenses are added for shoots outside my local area.

Turnaround time. Standard delivery is within 48 hours. Rush delivery can sometimes be arranged.

Usage rights. Most corporate photography is licensed for internal and standard commercial use. Broader licensing — advertising campaigns, for example — may affect the fee.

Experience and equipment. A photographer who has shot for government bodies and national organisations brings a different level of professionalism to the day than someone earlier in their career. That experience is reflected in the rate.

So, Is It Worth It?

Organisations that invest in professional photography consistently see the return — in the quality of job applications they attract, in how their brand is perceived by clients and partners, and in the confidence their team projects online.

One of my recent corporate clients, Clarity Eco, found me through a Google search. They needed professional imagery that matched the quality of the work they do. The shoot took half a day. The images are now across their website, their LinkedIn, and their marketing materials — working hard every single day.

That's what good corporate photography does. It works long after the shoot is over.
